London Trips

LONDON 2020!

Seven years – nine wonderful trips!

And yet there are still more things to do and discover!

Etoile Education and Amicale Education are again organising two new trips to London in August and October 2020.

The dates for the trips are :

Children aged over 11 : Saturday 22nd – Tuesday 25th AUGUST 2020
As the October trip is almost full, the minimum age for the August trip has been lowered from 12 yrs to 11 yrs (children who will be in 6ème/BISS 6/S1 in September)
Children aged between 9 and 11 : Saturday 17th – Tuesday 20th October 2020

The highlight of both trips will be a visit to a theatre in London’s West End to see an evening performance of “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie” (11 years +) and a matinee performance of “Mary Poppins” (9-11 years) (booking to be confirmed).

Both trips will include visits to at least two renowned museums – the Imperial War Museum and the Tate Modern for the older group and the British Museum and the Science Museum for the younger group.

The 12 years + will also get to walk around the Westminster – Buckingham Palace area of London and spend their first evening bowling at the Hollywood Bowl in Surrey Quays. Both groups will even have time to squeeze in a film at the cinema.

There will also be shopping opportunities at the Harry Potter shop on Platform 9 3/4  and FOYLES bookshop for the younger group, whilst the older group will have shopping time at the Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre (bookshops, fashion boutiques, sports shops, Starbucks…)

The (Salter Road) YHA Thameside will provide a comfortable resting place, with well-equipped bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, restaurant facilities and games room.

There are 16 places for the 11 yrs+ trip and 14 places for the 9 – 11 yrs trip (FULL). Places are reserved according to availability.

If you have any questions about the trip, don’t hesitate to email.
